Chloē Reweti (Ngāi Te Rangi, Ngāti Ranginui, Ngāti Tukorehe, Ngāti Porou) is an independent graphic designer based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara, Wellington, whose practice specialises in culturally grounded visual communication. Working at the intersection of contemporary design and te ao Māori, she develops visual systems that are underpinned by mātauranga Māori, robust research and meaningful engagement. Her practice is shaped through close collaboration with artists, makers, kaumātua and cultural practitioners. Alongside conventional research, Chloē undertakes wānanga – relationship-based learning to understand the cultural narratives, histories and contexts that inform each project, ensuring her design outcomes are thoughtful. Chloē has previously held roles at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa and Wētā Workshop where she was a designer and Art Director. Her clients include New Zealand Rugby, Samsung and Te Papa Tongarewa.
