HE MEKA! HE MEKA! is a Matauranga Māori learning resource created to support the Tuia250 project around the motu (nation). Tuia 250 commemorated 250 years since the first onshore encounters between Māori and Pākehā in 1769.
This deck of cards is a conversation game, that explores whakapapa with illustrated flash cards m that encourages whānau to use te reo and engage in Māori identity.
