One of only 21 LEGO Certified Professionals globally, Ryan McNaught aka “Brickman” brought the world’s most iconic landmarks made exclusively from LEGO bricks to Te Papa in 2017.
This exhibition was the museum’s commercial summer blockbuster. Colour, tone and imagery were used to create emotive, memorable designs in this multifaceted, nation-wide marketing campaign. Playful creative direction aimed to ignite the imagination of children and adults alike.  The intent was to boost Te Papa’s brand recognition by partnering with an internationally recognised brand like LEGO® in order to attract an audience outside of the typical museum-goer, inspire travellers from across Aotearoa to visit Wellington and ultimately drive revenue.
