Situated within the realm of Tangaroa, this design reflects the collective advancement of knowledge, expertise and shared purpose within RANZCR. Pūhoro forms reference the wake of a waka or hoe moving through water, embodying momentum and forward progress. Layered line-work, drawn from māori art-forms like whakairo and kōwhaiwhai reflect currents, the rhythms of tides and ocean pathways becoming a metaphor for exchange and connection between cultures through the concept of he waka eke noa - that we move forward together for the shared prosperity, safety and wellbeing of our communities and people.

...Because Chloē had taken such care to understand the brief, our feedback was limited to minor tweaks, and she responded to each one with clarity, flexibility and creative problem-solving. She also came up with imaginative ways to adapt the artwork across different types of merchandise, helping us make the most of the design. Chloe delivered everything to an exceptional standard under an extremely tight timeline. We would be very happy to work with her again and would confidently recommend her to anyone seeking a designer who combines creativity, cultural care, professionalism and a genuinely collaborative way of working.
